Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

In the last week and a half, I have spent over $1300. My credit card limit is $1000…so what did I do? Just open a new credit line.

I hope to God that I don’t get used to spending like this.

But I did it. I bought my camera. I got:

Canon Rebel EOS XTi (400D) body
Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens
Canon 35mm f/2 lens
Lens hood for 35mm lens
Camera bag
2 GB CompactFlash card

Altogether, $870, which is a lot more than a ‘kit’ on eBay would cost…but I like the idea of using prime lenses and playing with angles, distances, and also increased apertures.
